When your photographer friend you just met invites you on a road trip to Tuscany to help her shoot an intimate wedding two weeks after moving to Germany, your heart skips a beat and you say HECK YES!! Girls trip!!
I first met Jade on Instagram (how else do you meet people these days? haha!) and she was the first friend I made when we moved to Germany. Sadly, she has moved back to the states (that’s military life for ya), but I am so thankful for her friendship and this opportunity to go to Italy to help her shoot this beautiful wedding. It was a complete fairytale and Stacey and Lance were the absolute cutest couple! There were several “pinch me– I think I’m dreaming” moments. We all stayed at the grand villa where they decided to get married (named Borgo Castelrotto) and I felt as though I had known Stacey and Lance for years. I think thats why I love intimate weddings so much. You get to know the family, friends, and couple so well…and by the end of it you never want to leave because you feel like you’re part of the family! We had perfect weather for the wedding (I like to call it a 10/10 day!) and every detail was stunning. Because of COVID-19, so many of their wedding plans changed but Stacey and Lance were determined to make this wedding happen and it was perfect! And Tuscany as your backdrop? I’m still picking my jaw up off of the floor every time I look at these images. I feel so honored to have been even just a small part of this wedding weekend and am so happy for Stacey and Lance joining together as husband and wife! Their three adorable kids were ecstatic and it was so much fun celebrating them all weekend long. Cheers to Stacey and Lance and their unforgettable Tuscan wedding! Also, an extra huge thanks to Jade Nikkole Photography for inviting me to tag along! Hands down one of my favorite weddings to date!
